Say your vows and celebrate with family and friends onboard one of the world’s most famous and beautiful ships, Cutty Sark. Permanently suspended in the Maritime Greenwich UNESCO World Heritage Site against the backdrop of the River Thames, this one-time fastest ship in the world is a breathtaking and unique wedding venue in Greenwich.

The Dry Berth and ‘Tween Deck are the only spaces in the Cutty Sark Greenwich able to host ceremonies. Uniquely located underneath the copper-clad hull of the ship, the Dry Berth is a large area that is truly breathtaking and can host hundreds of guests for your ceremony – and is the only place in the world where you can say ‘I do’ under the hull of a ship. A glass canopy surrounding the ship brings natural light into the space – add a stunning floral arrangement from the list of approved suppliers to make this space even more romantic.

For small wedding ceremonies, consider the ‘Tween Deck. The space originally used to store cargo is now a light and bright space with original teak planks and iron frames, allowing you to say your vows surrounded by history.

Whether your wedding reception is large or small, there’s a beautiful space to choose from at the Cutty Sark. Following your wedding ceremony, enjoy drinks and photographs amongst the towering masts and rigging on the Weather Deck, where you and guests can look out across London. For an intimate dinner with just a few friends and family, the Master’s Saloon is a stunning private space with rich mahogany panelling and deep brown leather furnishings – and looks almost the same as it would have done 150 years ago.

The ‘Tween Deck can hold mid-size receptions and is an atmospheric spot to celebrate. For large ceremonies, the Cutty Sark’s Dry Berth has the wow factor, with space for a large dinner, drinks, and dancing under the copper-clad hull of the ship, as the city of London lights up above you. Dinner comes from a list of approved external caterers who offer everything from street food and casual options, fine dining, as well as a number of Kosher and Asian catering options.

What a superb place. What a buzzing atmosphere in the bows of The Cutty Sark, it holds 100 people in one theatre & 300 in the other. The bar area is directly under the ship, just Wow ! Plus the staff are very friendly & helpful to.
